COLD WAR PHOTOQUANTITY: 1 – See the other WWI & WWII tank and armor photos that I have listed. ITEM: RARE Heinz Nowarra Photo of BRITISH CENTURION II TANKS.Photo is from Heinz J. Nowarra (1912-1992) who was a German who worked for the Luftwaffe distributing spare parts for Me109 fighters and Ju88 and Ju188 Bombers from 1941 to 1945. After the war he became a well known aviation author, especially of German WWII fighters and bombers. His collection was reported to include over 38,000 photograph images. From time to time in the 1950’s to 1970’s he sold prints of his aviation photos of WWI and WWII fighters and bombers. I have seen many of these aviation photos. I HAVE NEVER BEFORE SEEN PHOTOS OF ARMOR FROM NOWARRA’S COLLECTION. Today I am listing RARE tank real photos from Heinz Nowarra. Many are images I have never seen before from any source. I only have one photo of each image; no duplicates to be sold later.SORRY. I WILL NOT SELL OR SHIP THIS ITEM TO RUSSIA, AFRICA, OR SOUTH AMERICA DUE TO PROBLEMS WITH POSTAL SYSTEMS.
